How credits work
Credits are bought in the app (Apple or Google in-app purchase) or on the web, and land on your TuneBench account. The first time you write to a vehicle, TuneBench spends the credits for that controller and creates a license tied to the VIN and PCM. After that, every write to that vehicle is free.

Questions about licenses
What if I swap PCMs?
A license covers the vehicle's VIN and the PCM it was first written to. Moving the tune to a different physical PCM needs a new license, the same way other tools handle it.
What if I sell the car?
The license stays with your account and that VIN. The next owner can still read, edit and log for free.
